Decision tree
Washer not filling troubleshooting.
A cautious path for washer no-fill, slow-fill, inlet, and water-supply codes.
Safe first
- Do not force a locked washer open.
- Turn water off before touching hose connections.
- Use the exact brand and code page for model-specific lock or retry behavior.
Stop and call service when
- Hose screens, valves, or internal access are required.
- Water leaks appear around the washer.
- The code persists with normal household water supply.
Decision sequence
Confirm water supply
Check that hot and cold faucets are open and that inlet hoses are not kinked.
Check recent installation
Recent movement or installation can reverse hoses, pinch hoses, or create water-pressure issues.
Avoid repeated resets
If the washer locks or repeats the code, follow the manufacturer lockout guidance rather than unplugging repeatedly.
